This cultural wedding styling blended tradition with contemporary design, using layered greenery, lanterns and sculptural installations to transform the venue.

💌 From Instagram to “I Do”: A Couple Full of Vision
We first connected with Lelia and Kamsh in the most modern way — through Instagram. A few DMs turned into shared ideas, happy emails, and a wedding full of thoughtful details.
From their initial enquiry in June 2024 to the wedding day in May 2025, the entire planning journey was filled with intention and excitement. Every decision was about making the day true to them — and the final result was unforgettable cultural wedding styling.
🌿 A Backdrop With Heart: Foliage, Lanterns & Heritage
Lelia and Kamsh chose our signature ladder backdrop, fully dressed in tumbling green foliage. The installation felt wild, natural, and full of life, as if nature itself had decided to join the celebration.
“We absolutely loved the rustic step ladder set-up — we partly fell in love with the venue because of that particular styling.”
But what truly made it special were the eight crimson lanterns woven into the greenery. A shimmering nod to Chinese heritage, where red symbolises joy, luck, and happiness. With Lelia in a stunning red wedding dress, the backdrop of green offered a striking, natural contrast.
“We also wanted to incorporate lots of green into our wedding to show off our red wedding dress… the plants absolutely made the venue for us.”

On the morning of 4th May 2025, we arrived to a calm, softly lit spring morning — the kind where everything feels possible.
Then came the moment: Lelia and Kamsh walking down the aisle in traditional dress, surrounded by nature, colour and community. It was one of those scenes that feels both grand and deeply intimate.
“Steph and the team did such an incredible job! They listened to exactly what we wanted and brought it into reality, but even more perfectly than we could have imagined!”

Every detail came together to reflect not just their style, but their heritage and shared values. The red lanterns, the lush greenery, the venue full of people they love — it was a celebration of past, present, and future.
